"And I feel one thing I want to share with you all, the greatest destroyer of peace today is the cry of the innocent unborn child... today millions of unborn children are being killed... And we say nothing... let us all pray that we have the courage to stand by the unborn child, and give the child an opportunity to love and to be loved... For the child is the greatest gift of God to a family, to a nation and to the whole world. God bless you!"

We passed by this kind man on the street and asked if he could play a song to Our Lord. He responded something like, “To the Lord Jesus? I love Jesus!” and played Amazing Grace. Beautiful!
It was an unforgettable experience to pray before the tomb of Ven. Archbishop Fulton Sheen in Peoria. It was especially grace-filled when we were able to kneel down and place our hands and head right against his tomb imploring his intercession for a dear friend of the community whose battling cancer. At the Cathedral, we got to see a beautiful reliquary, and close by there was a little museum filled with treasures from Ven. Sheen's life such as the chasuble and vessels he used, and a desk he wrote.
