Children of Mary Needs

Here are some of our current needs at Children of Mary:

Prayers -
If you would like to become part of our prayer support, please visit the We Won't Make It Without You page.

Solar Energy Expertise -
We need someone with expertise on solar energy to help us adapt our water pumps in the heating system to solar power.

Health Insurance Sponsors -
We need patrons to sponsor a Sister and pay (or help pay) her health insurance each month - the cost of a Sister's health insurance is $140.00 a month.

Carpentry Assistance -
We need a carpenter to build wooden wardrobes.

Building Contractors & Handymen -
We need help to turn our barn into a shrine. Two-thirds of the floor is already cemented. Now we need gravel to prepare the rest of the floor to be cemented, and then we will need cement (a lot of it to be delivered in a cement truck) and workers to help spread the cement. We also need help putting up boards on the walls of the interior of the building.

Firewood -
We need firewood - lots and lots of firewood, as we heat using a wood-burning furnace.

Firewood Hauling -
We need people with trucks (with or without trailers) who would be willing to transport firewood for us from the Granville area to our convent. The wood is available; we just have to get it here. We burn 30 - 40 cords of wood each winter, so we are in need of much help.

Monetary Donations -
We need donations to help maintain the chapel, shrines, and convent; to build hermitages for each sister; and pay everyday expenses of food and electricity. If you'd like to help, click on the Make A Donation button below!
