Children of Mary Needs

Here are some of our current needs at Children of Mary:

Prayers -
If you would like to become part of our prayer support, please visit the We Won't Make It Without You page.

Gravel for our Lane -
We need lots of gravel to fill in the ruts and holes in our lane.

Furnishings for Cells in New Cloister -
Soon we will be moving into our new cloister section of the convent. We would like to have identical crucifixes in each of our cells (nun's bedrooms). We intend to name each cell after a title of Our Lady, ie. cell 1 - Our Lady of the Angels; cell 2 - Our Lady of Silence, etc. We have picked out the crucifix we all like and five different pictures of Our Lady under some of Her different titles. If you are interested in adopting a cell and purchasing a crucifix and/or a picture of Our Lady for one of the cells, you can call or visit Catholica Catholic Books and Gifts at 133 S. State Street in Westerville, OH or call 614-890-2665 and ask Jennifer about the crucifix and pictures the Children of Mary sisters liked. In advance we thank you and ask God's blessings on you and your loved ones!

Church or School Bell -
We need a large (22-25-inch) bell.

Solar Spot Light

Miscellaneous Religious Items
We would like some rosaries and religious necklaces and medals, etc., to give away at the Soup Kitchen.

Towel Racks
We would like the kind that stand on the floor, and we need one for each cell.

Mechanical Assistance -
We need someone to bleed the brakes on our farm truck so we can use it to get firewood from the woods

Solar Energy Expertise -
We need someone with expertise on solar energy to help us adapt our water pumps in the heating system to solar power.

Health Insurance Sponsors -
We need patrons to sponsor a Sister and pay (or help pay) her health insurance each month - the cost of a Sister's health insurance is $140.00 a month.

Carpentry Assistance -
We need a carpenter to build wooden wardrobes.

Monetary Donations -
We need donations to help maintain the chapel, shrines, and convent; to build hermitages for each sister; and pay everyday expenses of food and electricity. If you'd like to help, click on the Make A Donation button below!
