A New Community in the Service of the Church

A Day in the life of a Sister of the Children of Mary:

5:30 A.M.	- As you rise from sleep: “All for the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, all for the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with St. Joseph!” - Dress, eat breakfast (oatmeal, toast, fresh fruit, coffee or tea) - Private recitation of the Angelus
6:30 A.M.	- Adoration begins by enthroning Jesus on the altar and offering Him our lives as we prostrate before Him - Half an hour of silent adoration and then chant Morning Prayer and Office of Readings
7:45 A.M.	- Work
8:30 A.M.	- Pray the Rosary
9:00 A.M.	- Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
10:15 A.M.	- Work
11:15 A.M.	- Dinner listening to a reading or a tape (except Friday, which is a day of fasting)
12:00 noon	- Angelus and Recreation (except Friday, when we pray the outdoor Stations of the Cross together)
1:00 P.M.	- Enthronement of Jesus on the Altar and chanting of Day Prayer - There will be one hour of adoration for each sister between now and Evening Prayer
1:30 P.M.	- Holy Leisure
2:00 P.M.	- Work
5:00 P.M.	- Chant Evening Prayer followed by Reposition of Our Lord in the Tabernacle
5:30 P.M.	- Eat a light repast in solitude, do spiritual reading, prayer, and study
7:00 P.M.	- Class
8:00 P.M.	- Chant Night Prayer
9:00 P.M.	- Sacred Silence and lights out by 10:00 P.M.

There's so much work to do. It is a work of love. “The smallest movement of pure love is worth more to the Church than all works put together.” (St. John of the Cross)

Our Patron Saints - Powerful Helpers
	St. John Vianney and the Little Flower have been our heavenly helpers for many years Saint Therese our little sister, bring us holy vocations - women on fire with love for God and a burning desire to see everyone love Him! St. John Vianney, intercede with us for holy priests.
Blessed Mother Teresa Blessed Mother Teresa, pray that we may help the poorest of the poor, those who do not yet know and love Jesus; that the spiritually starving masses will be fed with the Bread of Life.
	The great John Paul II Blessed Pope John Paul II, pray with us for the Second Lifting, when Jesus will be lifted high in the monstrance and adored by all people!
